By booking our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Service Agreement
By scheduling cleaning services with Smart Support LLC, dba "Octomaids," you agree to these Terms of Service. Our service providers require uninterrupted access to all areas being cleaned to perform their work safely and efficiently.2. Preparation for Service
To ensure efficient service, please:- Pick up toys, clothing, and personal items before your appointment
- Secure children and pets in a separate area during cleaning
- Move items weighing more than 25 lbs if you want areas behind them cleaned
- Clean up any pet waste before arrival
- Notify us of any infectious diseases in the household at least 24 hours in advance
3. Pricing & Payment
- Estimates: We provide an estimate before service begins. If actual cleaning time differs significantly, price adjustments may be necessary.
- Payment Due: All payments are due at the time of booking to secure your appointment. Payments are processed on the day of service.
- Pre-Authorization: We may process a $1.00 pre-authorization charge, which will be deducted from your total invoice.
- Accepted Methods: Credit card, debit card, ACH, and PayPal
- Commercial Accounts: Invoiced monthly. Unpaid invoices may be referred to collections after 45 days.
4. Scheduling & Access
- Arrival Window: Service providers arrive between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM on your scheduled day. We provide an estimated arrival time, but exact times cannot be guaranteed due to traffic and other factors.
- Access: Please ensure access by leaving a key, having someone home, or leaving a door unlocked. You are responsible for alarm codes and gated community access.
- Lock-Out Fee: If providers cannot access your home at the scheduled time, a lock-out fee equal to the cost of cleaning may be charged.
5. Cancellation Policy
We understand plans change. Please provide at least 24 hours' notice for any changes.- 24+ hours notice: No charge
- Less than 24 hours: $100 cancellation fee
- Same-day cancellation: Full cost of scheduled cleaning
6. Supplies & Equipment
Our service providers supply their own cleaning products and equipment. We make every effort to use environmentally friendly products when available. Important: Please inform us in advance if you require exclusively non-toxic cleaning products. We are not liable for damage caused by products not supplied by our providers.7. Liability & Damage
Our service providers are fully insured and take great care in your home. However, accidents can happen.- Reporting Period: Any damage or missing items must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.
- Resolution: We will investigate and address legitimate claims promptly.
- Weight Limit: For safety, providers do not move items weighing more than 25 lbs.
8. Satisfaction Guarantee
Your satisfaction matters to us. If you're not happy with any aspect of our service:- Notify us within 24 hours
- We will send providers back to re-clean any areas of concern at no additional charge
9. Independent Contractor Disclaimer
Smart Support LLC, dba "Octomaids," operates as a platform connecting clients with independent cleaning service providers. Our service providers:- Operate independently and are not employees of Smart Support LLC
- Are not in a partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship with us
- Are responsible for their own licensing, bonding, and insurance
10. Limitation of Liability
Smart Support LLC, dba "Octomaids," expressly disclaims liability for:- Actions or inactions of any service provider, user, or third party
- Claims, disputes, or damages arising between clients and service providers
- Guarantees regarding the satisfactory completion of services
11. Indemnification
You agree to release, defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Smart Support LLC, dba "Octomaids," its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from:- Your use of our website or services
- Violation of these Terms
- Interactions with service providers or third parties
- Any injuries, losses, or damages connected with services provided
12. Communication Consent
By providing your phone number and email address, you consent to receive:- SMS text messages (including automated messages)
- Phone calls (including prerecorded and autodialed)
- Emails regarding service updates, scheduling, and marketing
- Confirm the phone number provided is yours
- Notify us promptly if you change your number
- Understand that standard message and data rates may apply
