Prices -It is important for our service providers to have uninterrupted access to the areas of your home/office that they will be cleaning. Every effort is made to work safely and cautiously, but Smart Support LLC, dba ‘Octomaids’ and its service providers cannot assume liability for the safety of others. This includes children and pets. Our service providers need to be able to work freely and without distractions. If they are subject to distractions that affect their ability to perform their work in a timely manner, they reserve the right to charge for extra time spent in your home. We ask that you pick up toys, clothing or other items before they arrive so the time they spend in your home can be as efficient as possible. Please note: We provide you with an estimate before they start to clean. If the amount of time needed to clean your home differs significantly from the estimate, then an adjustment of the price may be necessary. White wood work can and often leads to longer clean times.

Payments – All payments are due at the time of booking to secure your time and date. We do not process payments until day of service, however we do reserve the right to process a one time $1.00, (one dollar) preauthorization charge which will be deducted from your total invoice. This excludes commercial jobs, which are typically invoiced monthly. We accept credit ,debit ACH, and Paypal. We reserve the right to request payment in advance for residences which we deem to be in very poor condition or for any other concern we may have. Commercial invoices are subject to referral to outside collection services if not paid within 45 days of date invoice was sent.

Cleaning Supplies and Equipment – Our service providers provide their own cleaning supplies and equipment. Smart Support LLC, dba ‘Octomaids’ and its service providers will not be held liable for any damage to the home or its contents due to mishandling or usage of products were not supplied by your service providers. Our service providers make every effort to provide environmentally friendly products when available and/or applicable. It is the homeowners or office managers responsibility to inform us if you require non toxic cleaning products exclusively.

Safety – For safety reasons, our service providers do not move anything weighing more than 25 lbs. If you wish them to clean behind anything heavy such as a couch or refrigerator, please move it prior to service to allow them access to that area. For their safety please notify us by telephone at least 24 hours prior to scheduled service of any infectious diseases that occur in your household. Smart Support LLC, dba ‘Octomaids’ and its service providers reserve the right to cancel and re-schedule in such circumstances.

Breakage/Damage – Our service providers are insured and take great care when cleaning your home, however, accidents can happen. If something appears to have been broken or is misplaced in the home and it appears to be due to the negligence of service providers, Smart Support LLC, dba ‘Octomaids’ or your service providers must be notified within 24 hours of incident or Smart Support LLC, dba ‘Octomaids’ and/or its service providers will not be held responsible for any problems reported after the 24 hour period.

Arrival times – Due to the time consuming, unpredictable nature of cleaning, Our providers cannot guarantee the exact time of arrival. We require your collaboration to achieve a level of flexibility to arrive and depart between the hours of 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on the day scheduled for cleaning. For your convenience we give you an estimated block of time to expect your providers arrival; however, they reserve the right to arrive earlier or later than the estimated arrival time due to circumstances beyond their control such as traffic conditions, etc. If service providers arrive at the scheduled service time only to find they are unable to access your home, a lock out fee equal to the cost of the cleaning may be charged. Please, contact us as soon as you know you or your representative will be unable to permit us to access the premises. We encourage all our clients to (a) leave a key, (b) arrange to have someone home to let our service providers in, or (c) leave a door unlocked so that lock-outs will not be an issue. You are responsible for all alarms and access permissions (gated communities).

Cancellation of Appointments/Lock-out – You may reschedule, add, skip or cancel any of your cleanings. We understand that unforeseen events may occur. Such events can create the need to cancel your scheduled cleaning appointment. If at all possible, for any reason that you need to change your scheduled appointment; please give us a full 24 hours notice. Once we take a reservation, we hold that time slot open for you and turn away other potential clients in order to ensure your appointment. In the event of a cancellation of less than 24 hours of notice a cancellation fee of $100.00 will be charged. The client agrees to pay the entire cost of the cleaning in full for any visit cancelled by them on the day of the cleaning. This applies to visits aborted by our providers when they are unable to gain access to your home due to being locked out, or for any reason, a service provider may feel that his/her personal safety is endangered enough to cause him/her to leave the jobsite due to actions by the client, guests, or pets on the premises. The client will remain liable for the full cost of the non-performed service.

Guarantees -If you’re not happy with any part of the services, you must notify Smart Support LLC, dba ‘Octomaids’ , or service providers within 24 hours. Refunds are not offered on work provided. Your providers will however, come back to clean areas that you are not be happy with.

Cleaning exclusions-Our service providers do not clean up pet feces of any kind. Please make sure this is picked up before their arrival.

DISCLAIMER Smart Support LLC DBA ‘Octomaids’ does not provide any house cleaning services or materials. The house cleaning contractors, companies, and/or service providers operate independently from Smart Support LLC and do not constitute any form of partnership, join venture, agent-principal, or employee-employer relationship. Although, we do our best to verify each indepedent contractors credentials, as with any home improvement decision, you should verify and independently confirm the status of any house cleaning contractor’s license.

INDEMNIFICATION AND RELEASE You agree to release, defend, indemnify, and hold Smart Support LLC DBA ‘Octomaids’ and its affiliates and subsidiaries, and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents, harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including without limitation reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with (a) your access to or use of https://octomaids.com/ or your violation of these Terms; (b) your User Content or the Collective Content; (c) your interaction with any members, third party independent contractors, or user; and (c) , including but not limited to any injuries, losses, or damages (compensatory, direct, incidental, consequential or otherwise) of any kind arising in connection with services provided by members, third party independent contractors, or users .

We do try to confirm that service providers meet certain requirements and provide them with the opportunity to provide information regarding their businesses, we are not responsible for verifying that information or for ensuring that any service provider is licensed, qualified, bonded or insured. Additionally, because none of our independent service providers are trained or instructed as to how to perform the services by Smart Support LLC DBA ‘Octomaids’ for which they offer, we do not guarantee that any services will be satisfactorily performed or completed and we do not make any other guarantee, warranty or representation of any kind regarding any service provider or any services, advice or information provided by Service Provider.

Smart Support LLC DBA ‘Octomaids’ expressly disclaims any liability for (i) any action or inaction of any service provider or other User or any third party, and (ii) any claim, demand, dispute or damage that may arise between Consumers, Service Providers, other Users or any third party.

Consent to Receive Emails & Phone Text messages from Smart Support LLC dba ‘Octomaids’

By providing your mobile phone number and email address to Smart Support LLC dba ‘Octomaids’, you agree to provide consent to Receive SMS Messages. You consent to receive SMS messages (including text messages), and telephone calls (including prerecorded and artificial voice and autodialed) from us, our agents, representatives, affiliates, or anyone communicating on our behalf at the specific number(s) you have provided to us, with service-related information, questions about your use of the Services, and/or Even Account and marketing information.

You certify, warrant, and represent that the telephone number you have provided to us is your contact number and not someone else’s. You represent that you are permitted to receive calls and text messages at the telephone number you have provided to us. You agree to promptly alert us whenever you stop using a telephone number. Even and our agents, representatives, affiliates, and anyone calling on our behalf may use such means of communication described in this section even if you will incur costs to receive such phone messages, text messages, e-mails, or other means.

Standard message and data rates may apply to all SMS messages (including text messages). We may modify or terminate our SMS messaging services from time to time, for any reason, and without notice, including the right to terminate SMS messaging with or without notice, without liability to you.
